Sarah

Sarah Fodey

An accomplished Producer and Writer, Sarah Fodey’s twenty-year career in motion storytelling has spanned feature films, scripted series, factual entertainment, documentary production, and branded corporate communications. Sarah has executive produced, produced, and line produced for networks including the CBC, Global, APTN, Comedy, Bravo!, TVO, TFO, City, and TMN. She is currently co-producing the sixth season of Qanurli; producing, writing, and directing the feature-length documentary The Fruit Machine; and producing a feature film funded by Telefilm Canada and Unis. In addition to her entertainment experience, Sarah has written and produced hundreds of hours of award-winning content in branded corporate storytelling. In 2013-2014, Sarah led a team of writers, directors, researchers, designers, composers, and creative post personnel on a large-scale project for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Canada, delivering 59 original films and two sound landscapes for the Museum’s inaugural launch. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Queen’s University and an honour’s diploma in the Television Broadcasting program at Algonquin College.
Barakat

Amanda Barakat

Amanda Barakat is a highly-respected Producer, Project Manager, and Director with nine years of video storytelling expertise. A master of organization, this fluently bilingual industry leader excels at shepherding projects from creative ideation through final delivery. Assembling and leading creative and business teams on complex and challenging projects is where Amanda shines. From directing bilingual on-camera talent in some of Canada’s most remote and beautiful natural landscapes for the iconic Hinterland Who’s Who broadcast campaigns, to being the creative and business project lead for several national clients including The Bank of Canada, Canadian Blood Services, the Canadian Wildlife Federation, and Aga Khan Foundation Canada, Amanda excels in the art of variety and diversity. A honours graduate in Television Broadcasting from Algonquin College, Amanda currently calls Toronto, Ontario home where she manages SandBay’s slate of broadcast and branded communication projects.

Han Nguyen

Since entering the motion picture industry in 2002, Han Nguyen has produced, directed, and worked as a 1st assistant director in every screen-based medium. From feature films, shorts, and scripted series to documentaries, music videos, and branded corporate communications, Han has worked with networks including the CBC, YTV, CHUM, TVO, TFO, APTN, and Lifetime. She is currently producing a feature film funded by Telefilm Canada and Unis; producing a feature-length documentary; and developing an animated children’s series. In addition to her entertainment experience, Han has written, produced, and directed hundreds of hours of award-winning content for clients including The Toronto Zoo, Cancer Care Ontario, Ogilvy and Mather, Elections Ontario, The Ottawa Hospital, and was a creative lead and production manager for a large-scale project for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Canada, delivering 59 original films and two sound landscapes for the Museum’s inaugural launch. Han is multi-lingual and produces and directs in both English and French. She was a member of the screenwriting committee at Algonquin College and is currently a member of Women in Communications.
